Tucked away in Clifton Block 4, Koel has always been an escape from the madness of city life. Known for its great ambiance, friendly staff and good value for money Koel has been around for quite a while now.
-AMBIANCE-
When you enter into this place you realize its more then just a restaurant, a sudden rush of relaxation goes through your whole body. A place where you can find great comfort food and with impeccable service.
Personally iv always been in love with the amazing interior of the place, its magicstic & natural without over doing it. Every single detail has been carefully worked upon.
-MENU-
The menu is a blend of a little bit of a lot of things but mostly I find it leaning towards the desi traditional items more. The Kulcha sandwiches are one of the most raved about appetizer in the menu. The Imli sherbet the shikanj-been are both were very refreshing and my favorite two drinks on the menu.
-ORDER-
So this time around went on a friends recommendation and tried the Moroccan Chicken & Parmesan Chicken.
MOROCCAN CHICKEN
Two perfect fillets of chicken marinated in the traditional Pakistani spices, each bite contained bags of flavors. The red chili, lemon zest and herbs blended perfectly with the creamy spicy sauce they were mixed with, giving it such a twist to the normal flavorings of a Moroccan chicken.
Was served along with garlic rice and some veggies which were also cooked to perfection
PARMESAN CHICKEN
This was my favorite, chicken covered with Parmesan cheese, herbs and bread crumbs. Simple flavors which tasted truly amazing. Was served with veggies sauteed in oyster sauce making it a favorite.
For drinks we had Cinnamon & Cardamon Tea both of which were just perfect.
The presentation of the dishes is artsy & appetizing.
-OVERALL-
Over the countless visits to this place, Koel has managed to never disappoint me even once.It was a wonderful dining experience, the assortment of music that Koel Cafe has just adds to the simple pleasure of eating out with friends and family!
Happy Eating
